To celebrate International Women’s Day, The Pub at Golden Road Brewing in Atwater Village, CA is offering a flight of four beers: Golden Road Hefeweizen, Point the Way IPA, Valentin, and Vinaceous Old Ale for $9. The Valentin, a 6.5% ABV French Saison, is the first collaboration beer for the L.A. based brewery with Hangar 24 Craft Brewery from Redlands, CA. Golden Road Brewing celebrates its new cask brew with a beer festival

Supporting the Whole Planet Foundation

Golden Road Brewing in Atwater Village will be releasing a new cask beer at a benefit and beer festival supporting the Whole Planet Foundation – a Whole Foods Market agency dealing with international poverty issues – on March 11 from 2 – 5 PM. Tickets include a souvenir glass (first 500 guests) and two beer tickets and can be purchased at the door or online for $20 per person (21+). Additional beer tickets can be purchased for $4. El Segundo Brewing Co.’s Blue House Citra Pale release party, Golden Road beer and tequila night at Blue Palms

Two craft beer events this week in L.A.

On Saturday February 4 on 12 PM at the El Segundo Brewing Co. in El Segundo, CA, owner and brewer Rob Croxall and the team are throwing a party to celebrate the release of Blue House Citra Pale, brewed with Citra hops. The beer described by Sales Director, Thomas Kelley as “super citrusy, ridiculously hoppy Citra Pale in your face for a little while.” Growler refills of Citra Pale is $15, they are also offering a new growler fill and a t-shirt for $28. 140 Main St., El Segundo, CA 90245.

On Wednesday, February 1 at 6 PM at the Blue Palms Brewhouse in Hollywood (set to close for a short term due to Music Box Theater’s eviction) is hosting Golden Road Brewing‘s “El Hefe Anejo & Peligroso” night featuring a flight of tequila from Peligroso and Golden Road Brewing’s un-barrelled Hefeweizen, and the barrel aged Hefeweizen Anejo, part of the head brewer Jon Carpenter‘s “Carpenter’s Cellar” series. Golden Road Brewing in Atwater Village had their grand opening party last Sunday. To celebrate, they tapped seven new beers: Burning Bush IPA, Either Side of the Hill American strong ale, El Hefe Anejo – a tequila barrel-aged Hefeweizen, Festivus Cinnamon Bitter, Get Up Offa That Brown, Lost its Way IPA, and Rye on the Palate. Golden Road Brewing, same craft beer quality now available in cans

Starting January 15 in L.A.

Say goodbye to the watered down beers[crap] in cans and hello to craft brews. Starting January 15, Golden Road Brewing‘s top sellers, Golden Road Hefeweizen and Point the Way IPA, will be available in 16 ounce pint cans, also available in six packs, at your local Whole Foods Markets and a select number of specialty retail shops in the greater Los Angeles area.

Changing the way Angelenos consume local beers, Golden Road Brewing is increasing the accessibility of craft beers while maintaining their beers’ quality and addressing environmental concerns. With these opaque and hermetically sealed cans, the beer quality and taste is protected from both sunlight and oxygen. Golden Road Brewing’s distinctively canned craft beers will also be easy to find as they are decked out with photography by a local artist.

Golden Road Brewing has had three goals since they opened, produce as much beer as possible, get the canning line up and running, and open up a pub. Well folks, the pub is here (since mid-December with limited hours and abbreviated menu) and the cans are right around the corner. Ladyface Ale’s Veterans Day discount, Golden Road Brewing full sized growlers now available and more!

Ladyface Ale Companie in Agoura Hills is offering a 20% discount to all U.S. veterans on Friday, November 11.

64 oz. growlers are now available at Golden Road Brewing in Atwater Village for $16, refills are $10. Growler fills are available Monday through Saturday from 2 PM – 6 PM.

L.A.’s popular beer garden returns for the winter, Ellen DeGeneres to open vegan restaurant and more!

ColLAboration, L.A.’s popular pop-up craft beer garden is back with a “ColLAboration Winter Wonderland Craft Beer Garden” event on Saturday December 3 from 12 PM – 5 PM. The event will will be held at the newly opened Golden Road Brewing in Atwater Village. $15 for membership glass, beer tokens and food from local eateries available for purchase.

The Hollywood Report reports Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi is set to open an animal-product free restaurant with menu by chef Tal Ronnen, somewhere on Ventura Blvd. in the Valley.

The 3rd Annual Santa Monica Pub Crawl is set for Saturday, December 17. Crawlers are encouraged to dress in ‘Santa/Holiday’ attire. $10 for entrance fee.

El Carmen in L.A. is celebrating “Dia de los Muertos” on November 2 from 8 PM – 2 AM with drink specials including El Carmen’s Classic Margaritas for $5. Guests are encouraged to be in their “Dia de los Muertos” costumes. Dj Garron Gash will be spinning live.
