On Friday, April 13 starting at 6:00 PM until 9:30 PM, Bootlegger’s Brewery celebrates turning 4 years old with a music and beer festival at The Muck in Fullerton, CA. Tickets are $25 during pre-sale and includes: 10 taster tickets (additional tickets will be available for purchase), commemorative tasting glass, live music, 30 house beers on tap including specialty and rare beers, and access to The Muckenthaler Gallery exhibit showrooms. Knuckle Sandwich DIPA release starting tomorrow
Pliny the Younger is not the only beer with all the hype. Fullerton, CA based Bootlegger’s Brewery is releasing their specialty – the Knuckle Sandwich DIPA (Double India Pale Ale;
same beer-style as the Younger) starting tomorrow. The release weekend will kick off Thursday, February 23 until Sunday, February 26. Owner Aaron Barkenhagen released a newsletter this afternoon stating the limited availability of the brew. The Knuckle Sandwich DIPA will not be distributed to retailers, only bars on kegs as “this time around we had to make a little less than December due to other production constraints.” There is a three bottle/one growler purchase limit per person. Late notice, but starting at 6 PM on January 30 in Orange, CA, Bootlegger’s Brewery and The Bruery are teaming up with an event at the Bruery Provisions. Ten taps will feature popular brews from Bootlegger’s plus collaborations that they’ve created with the Bruery including Chocosaurus Rye, a representation of each brewing style: “a dark rye lager that was finished with cacao nibs and vanilla beans.”
Two other beers from The Bruery will also be released, Mother Funker is a sour blonde all aged in Chardonnay barrels for several years which is “a seriously sour beer, perhaps the most sour beer we’ve produced so far.” Sour In The Rye! makes it’s return, brewed with almost 40% rye malt and also barrel aged for over a year. 143 N. Two Orange County breweries to be at this weekend
This Friday, December 16 from 4 – 10 PM, Bootlegger’s Brewery is throwing a “Festive Holiday Party” in Fullerton, CA. Come dressed in an ugly holiday sweater, a Christmas/holiday costume, or your most festive holiday colors and accessories. Bring in your own stein/cup and receive drink specials all night and to compete in the competition. Cismontane Brewing’s holiday party & bottle release happening Saturday December 17 from 12 PM – 8:30 PM in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA.
