Last ‘Pacific Standard Time Exhibit’ inspired food truck event this Saturday

This Saturday, March 3, while getting some culture at the Pasadena Museum of California Art, indulge yourself in culinary art with the final Art as an Appetizer: Food Truck Meet-Up event. From noon to 4 PM, chefs from the participating food trucks will be serving dishes inspired by the Pacific Standard Time Exhibit – LA Raw Abject Expressionism in Los Angeles 1945 – 1980 currently on display at the Pasadena Museum of California Art. The ‘Ultimate Wine Festival’ to be held at Shade Hotel

Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach will be home to the seventh annual Ultimate Wine Festival, on Monday, March 12 from 6 – 9 PM. A score of Californian winemakers will join together to present a bouquet of west coast wines while serving hors d’ouevres. Tickets are $100 per person and a percentage of proceeds will benefit the Manhattan Beach Middle School. Chef Dakota Weiss’ food menu for dogs at the W in Westwood

Now that dogs can hang out at restaurant patios at most parts of L.A. County, restaurants like the Backyard at the W Los Angeles – Westwood (a dog friendly hotel) is announcing a food menu for your furry little friend. Taste the flavors of California Central Coast at the 8th Annual Taste of Pismo

The 8th Annual Taste of Pismo in Pismo Beach, CA will be held on April 20 through 22, showcasing Central Coast California’s wines paired with local restaurants. On Friday, April 20, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, visitors can experience flavors of the Central Coast at the Farm to Street event featuring local restaurants like: Cracked Crab, Huckleberry’s, Scotty’s, Quarterdeck and Steamers and more. Tickets are $60 per person.

On Saturday, April 21 from 12 PM to 4 PM, at the Premier Wine & Culinary event, guests can enjoy local cuisines, and taste local wines at the cliffs of Dinosaur Caves Park, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Tickets are $50 per person.

And for the early birds, starting on April 22 at 8 AM, a pancake breakfast will be served featuring home-style cooking with dishes like hot pancakes and eggs to bacon and sausages hosted by the Pismo Beach Firefighters.
