How to make a margarita for National Margarita Day or any other day
A quick how-to video with Casa Vega's bartender Antonio Navarro
Let’s be honest, if it was up to us, every day would be National Margarita Day. Apparently tomorrow is the day where you’re suppose to drink (and celebrate with) pitchers of margaritas. So, to make sure we’re in an adequate state of mind for all the lime and alcoholic goodness, we brought a camera crew to Casa Vega in Sherman Oaks, CA, a Mexican restaurant operating since 1956, and filmed long-time bartender, Antonio Navarro, creating one of Casa Vega’s more popular drinks – the Cadillac Margarita.
So simple to make, you can follow these instructions even after five drinks.
No silly mix here
This margarita is made with Jose Cuervo 1800, Triple Sec, Grand Marnier, and lime juice with salt around the glass.
Don’t want to bother making these drinks at home? Casa Vega is offering an all-day margarita discount on February 22 with $4.95 Casa Vega Margarita, $7.60 Blood Orange Margarita, and $8.41 Cadillac Margarita. 13301 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks, CA 91423. 818-788-4868.
