Taste the last of former brewer Jeff Bagby’s Pizza Port Carlsbad beers at O’Brien’s Pub

The brewer and brewpub that has been unstoppable and taking home the big awards at the Great American Beer Festival for the past few years, Jeff Bagby (former head brewer at Pizza Port Carlsbad) will be at O’Brien’s American Pub in San Diego on January 29 at 6:30 PM for “A Taste of Bagby“, yes, a taste of himself.

Tickets are $50 and includes beers like: 15th Anniversary Strong Ale Blend, Bourbon Barrel Night Rider Imperial Stout, Sticky Stout, Rye Whiskey Barrel Aged Bubonic Chronic, and Haight 547 Imperial Red. Cafe del Rey hosts Summerland Winery for a wine paired dinner

Teaming up with Cafe del Rey is the Central Coast’s Summerland Winery to bring you a special group “wining and dining” event. A lesson in Belgian beers with Little Bear’s Ryan Sweeney

It’s been a goal for Ryan Sweeney to open up a Belgian beer bar since he first visited the country years back. Last Friday, Little Bear opened its doors in downtown Los Angeles. A concept created by the Oinkster and Maximiliano’s Andre Guerrero (pictured left) and Verdugo Bar and Surly Goat’s Ryan Sweeney (pictured right) showcasing Belgian food and beers. Eagle Rock Brewery turning two, Ladyface’s anniversary week celebration

Ladyface Ale Companie based in Agoura Hills, CA is celebrating their second birthday with “Ladyface Anniversary Week” from January 22 – 28.
